In one line
Doubles Rush is a free arcade game from Trinidad and Tobago where you run a doubles stand and serve the line before they get vex.
Short description (about 50 words)
Doubles Rush puts you behind a Trini doubles stand at the height of the rush, morning or evening. Read each order, build it fast with bara, channa, pepper and toppings, and serve it before the customer walks off. It plays free in any web browser, and every score can be sent as a challenge.
Long description (about 150 words)
Doubles Rush is a love letter to the doubles vendor, the person who feeds Trinidad and Tobago morning and evening. Players run a roadside stand and serve a line of customers before their patience runs out: one slight with chadon beni, two heavy with sweet sauce, a to-go order for the whole office.
The road runs from Sangre Grande to Tobago, eight stands with their own crowds, from schoolchildren and maxi conductors to nurses coming off a night shift. Daily Doubles gives everyone the same customers each day, and challenge links let a friend play the exact same line, so the bragging is fair. Every board score is replayed and checked on the server.
The game is free and plays in any browser on a phone or computer, with no download or sign-up. Android and iPhone apps are coming.
What's in the game
- Build doubles to order: bara, channa, pepper (none, slight or heavy) and toppings like chadon beni, sweet sauce, kuchela and cucumber.
- Eight stands on the road from Sangre Grande to Tobago, each with its own crowd: schoolchildren, maxi conductors, nurses off a night shift, Tanty Merle watching every order.
- Daily Doubles: the same customers and orders for everyone, every day, with a national board.
- Challenge links: send your score, and your friend plays the exact same line. No app or sign-up needed.
- Friends boards and Limes, private boards for an office, school or WhatsApp group.
- Fair play: every board score is replayed and checked on the server before it counts.
